Christopher Turpin was born on 6th November 1896 in London,
England and joined the C.A.M.C. on 23rd September 1914 at Valcartier,
Quebec, being assigned to No. 2 General Hospital. On 24th January
1918 he was transferred to No. 3 Canadian Field Ambulance and on
27th September 1918 while in the field received a gunshot wound to
his head. He was sent to England with a fractured skull and once
recovered was taken on strength at Shorncliffe. He was discharged
on 21st March 1919. Died 10/10/1967. With service file.
