Group comprising: 1914-15 Star 418932 Pte T. Stoddard. 42/Can: Inf: British War and Victory Medals, 418932 Pte. T. Stoddard. 42-Can. Inf. Private Thomas Stoddard was born on 27th June 1873 at Blackburn, England, and served with the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment for 12 years as service number 3339 received the QSA and KSA medals at least before emigrating to Canada. Residing at Cote St. Paul, Montreal, Quebec, Occupation Constructional Steel Erector Bridges / Labourer, he enlisted for WWI service on 18 May 1915. Discharged late 1919 as medically unfit due to service chronic nephritis.
