A very fine and scarce die-stamped silvered crowned star mounted with a circlet, ringed with shamrocks, QUEENS OWN ROYAL REGIMENT. Domed black leather centre mounted with three flaming castles from Dublin Arms.

Dublin City Militia raised in 1793, redesignated Royal Dublin City Militia in 1815 later adding the title “Queen’s Own” became 4th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers on Friday 1st July 1881.
