Officer's silver plated cap badge for the blue patrols (re-introduced in 1948 after the WWII hiatus.) (Brooker 192-11-232) Die cast with flat back maker marked Scully Ltd Montreal with screw post fasteners. In 1946 the regiment amalgamated with the Edmonton Fusiliers as the 19th Armoured Car Regiment (Edmonton Fusiliers). Effective February 4th 1949 the designation was altered to the 19th Alberta Armoured Car Regiment (RCAC). On November 1st 1954 the designation was changed to the 19th Alberta Dragoons (19th Armoured Car Regiment)
