A rare helmet plate of the Halifax Garrison Artillery.
This plate is listed in Mazeas's Pre 1914 Canadian Militia badge book on page 13.
There were (7) companies of 344 men dating back to 1885.
All brass construction, 3 7/8 inches high 3 1/5 inches wide and nicely toned with all (3) original lugs intact.
