Footnote: The Bahawalpur-Pakistan Alliance Medal was instituted in 1947 by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi, to commemorate the accession of Bahawalpur to the Dominion of Pakistan and the conclusion of the treaty of union on October 3, 1947 and awarded in a single class.
