Officially named to: George Damery 31st Foot, 

Minor edge knock on G of George, very fine.

With copied service paper and roll, he was born in Ballimoney, Co. Cork, Ireland, enlisted aged 22 in 1807, discharged 9 Sept 1815 in consequence of his left arm being amputated from a wound received at the Action of Bayonne on 13th December 1813. George was admitted as a Chelsea Pensioner on 19th September 1815.
