A few light marks, otherwise good very fine.
Private Ernest Henry Simpson, of Pontefract, Yorkshire was born c. 1854 served in the Second Afghan War with the 15th King's Hussars with copied service papers showing service from 7th April 1877, occupation Farmer, age 21 years and one month, transferred to Military Mounted Police 1st July 1881 and served almost 12 years in total. including service in the East Indies, Sudan 1884 and Egypt 1886-89. He also received an Egypt Medal with clasp El Teb-Tamaii and a Khedives Star 1884.
