Harry Robert Bridle was born on 30th October 1887 in Brighton, Sussex, he was serving in H.M.S. Speedy when she was sunk following a collision in the Sea of Marmara on 24 September 1922. Invalided out in December 1926, later a Bus Conductor, he died 1962 age 74 in Surrey, buried Grayswood, All Saints.
