8293 Pte. H. Jones, Welsh Regiment
Toned, minor reverse edge bruise, very fine.
With copied research confirming the recipient as Corporal Harry Jones, born London, member of the 3rd Bn Northamptonshire Militia, including several mentions in the regimental defaulter’s book including convicted ny DCM of Striking his superior officer. He was also entitled to a (2) clasp K.S.A., which appears to have been returned to Woolwich in 1912 according to the medal roll ‘remarks’ column (also gives his Rank of Sergeant).
