MacNamara Henry Dix (note medal above is named H.M.Dix), surveyor, age
24, born at St Lucia, West Indies, late of West India Police; Enlisted 26th Dec. 1899
at Winnipeg, Province of Manitoba; served with The Canadian Mounted
Rifles later designated Royal Canadian Dragoons; Discharged 30th Sep 1900 and
joined The Imperial Military Railway and served until 13th Jan 1901. Papers confirm all clasps.
