Only one man matches, service number R-168002, John Douglas Clark Cowell, born 31st May 1913 at Saltfleet, Kitchener, Wentworth, Ontario and died on 28th April 1992 at Kitchener. Wartime service was in the RCAF. John was a school Principal according to the census records with both B.A. and M. Ed. Degrees and was married to Mary Elizabeth Munn (1924-2008) both now laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. His service File has not been ordered and warrants further research.
