Allan George Barnett was born on 14th April 1880 in Toronto and was an Insurance Broker before he attested on 31st March 1915 stating 2 years militia service in the Light Horse. He was instantly killed whilst on duty in the trenches in the vicinity of Courcelette by an enemy shell explosion.
