Huntly Herman Gordon was born March 16th 1896 in Lucknow (Bruce County) Ontario. He was a Student when he enlisted October 26th 1914. He Served in England and France with the 18 Battalion and 4th Res. Battalion. Promoted Lieut March 1917 and suffered from Heat Stroke May / June 1917. He was discharged July 24th 1919 as a Lieutenant. For a while lived in NSW Australia, married Ella Marie Schwindt 9 Aug 1927 and moved to Detroit, Michigan, shows up as a Fire Inspector on the 1930 Census. Died Dec 1989 in London, Ontario per ancestry.
GVF or better on dirty original ribbons. Have his father's Masonic Medal listed currently, he was Doctor D.M. Gordon, Worshipful Master of Old Light Lodge in Lucknow.
