Memorial Cross to Biddiscombe, 26th Battalion, who was previously awarded a Military Medal

Joseph Alfred Biddiscombe was born on 19 April 1895 at North Forks, New Brunswick. Rank; Sergeant, 26th Battalion, Infantry (Army). He was awarded the Military Medal on 14-5-18, L.G. 29-8-18.
Subsequently he was killed in action on June 23rd 1918, and is buried at Bellacourt Military Cemetery in France. There is a photo of him on ancestry. The cross was issued to his mother, Mrs Mary Biddiscombe.
