Impressed naming to: LIEUT. H.R. POWELL. 

Hayes Robert Powell, born Norwich, Norfolk, served in 13th Can. Inf, attested 23rd Sept 1914, occupation "Bank Official". 

He was sadly Killed in Action on 21st May 1915 at Ypres (prev. reported missing). He was the son of Francis Barcham Powell and Edith Annie Powell, of "Mount Pleasant," Bridport, Dorset, England. Commemorated on the Vimy Memorial.
